Do I need a permit for shed construction?
At East Coast Shed Company, we advise you to contact your local building department regarding specific requirements for shed building. We will gladly assist you with all necessary documents for you to obtain your building permit.Back to top

Do I need to prepare the site for delivery?
We ask that the ground be leveled within a six (6) inch difference. Our installers need three (3) feet of workspace around the perimeter of the shed. The site must be clear of all debris including brush, stumps and other obstructions. Trees in the general area must not have any branches hanging over the site . If the site has been improperly prepared and installation is impossible, there will be an additional fee to reschedule construction of your shed. Do you need to drive a truck across my lawn?
No. Your shed is delivered on a flat bed truck. We just need to be able to drive up within a hundred (100) feet of the site. If we are unable, there will be an additional fee to carry the materials to the site.Back to top

Are your sheds built-on-site?
We build the components to your specifications at our facility and assemble the shed on-site.Back to top

What other options are available?
Since we build our own sheds, your options are only limited by your imagination. Just provide us with a layout of your perfect shed and we will provide you with a custom quote.Back to top

Do you require a down payment?
On most of our sheds we do not. However, on our larger custom sheds we require a deposit of 25% (twenty five percent) down. Final payment due when installation is completed.Back to top

No, we recommend that you paint or stain all wood sheds within 30 days of installation.Back to top

What type of shingles do you offer?
We offer standard 25 year fiberglass asphalt shingles and optional 30 year architectural shingles.Back to top

Do I need to be home on the day of installation?
Yes. The owner or (owner's agent) must be on site the day of installation.Back to top

Do you offer any type of warranty?
All our sheds carry a 5- year limited warranty on defective materials and workmanship, under normal use and conditions. Natural disasters, unusual conditions, acts of nature, and neglect are not covered. Repairs to the structure and foundation due to shifting or settling soil are not covered. All wood buildings must be painted with an exterior grade premium quality paint or stain within 30 days of installation or the warranty will be void. This warranty is not transferable and is exclusive to East Coast Shed purchasers. All warranties and service calls must be submitted via email to eastcoastshed@yahoo.com.Back to top
